After the success of the My Room service in London, entrepreneurs launch a platform to serve Brazilians and Latin Americans in Portugal
Caimans Lucas Pellini and Roberta Weber Calabro launched the My Room startup in London in April 2017, the first startup in the UK focused on finding accommodations for Latin Americans.
Since then, the company has helped more than 400 students and professionals to mine rooms in the capital of England, with a portfolio of about 4,000 options available.
Successful size led startup to expand its business in Europe, with the site My Room in Portugal, scheduled to debut at the end of September, the result of the entry of another caxiense in the team: Franco Gatelli Périco. The online solution will serve the cities of Porto, Lisbon and Coimbra, all university areas.
The directors confide that the intention is to transform this arm into a digital real estate, providing the sale of real estate for Brazilians in Portugal, mainly in the Algarve region.
