Created by the gauchos of Caxias do Sul who live in Europe, a startup challenges the "unicorn" - a business that reaches an estimated value of US $ 1 billion before opening capital - Airbnb . Turned to renting accommodations, My Room in London, will enter the Portuguese market. My Room in Portugal should air on October 1 offering spaces in Porto, Lisbon and Coimbra.

The idea, which came in 2017, tells the company's founder, Lucas Pellini, had an initial investment of $ 10,000 and was born by the very difficulty of finding "honest" accommodations in the English capital.

- On many sites, the photos I saw were not what I found. I did not want anyone who came here to do the same, "he says.

The platform, which started with 40 rooms in London, now has a portfolio of more than 4,000 accommodations and has served more than 400 people. Besides the Brazilians, the site is also aimed at the Latin audience. Pellini, who has two other partners, Roberta Weber and Franco Périco, says the expansion should not stop there.

The idea is to expand the area of activity and, besides acting as intermediation for accommodations, transform the company into a digital real estate, also providing the sale of real estate in Portugal for Brazilians . Another project of the partners is to open an affiliate of the company in Dublin, Ireland, in 2019.
